Websites

A website that loads in a second and can be found.

I do not assemble sites from templates. I write the code from scratch in Next.js, because speed depends on it, your ranking depends on speed, and whether a visitor waits at all depends on both.

Tell me about your business and I will quote it

What you get

  • A design built around your business, not picked from a template gallery
  • Next.js code: no WordPress, no plugins, no monthly updates that break the layout
  • Fully responsive: phone, tablet, laptop, desktop
  • Technical SEO: structured data, sitemap, correct heading order, fast loading
  • A contact form that lands straight in your inbox
  • A second language version if you sell abroad
  • Hosting configured and your domain connected
  • A walkthrough so you can edit the content yourself

Who it is for

  • Service businesses with a five-year-old site they would rather not send to a client
  • Solo operators who need to look credible from day one
  • Clinics, law firms, workshops and offices that customers find through Google
  • Companies whose current site loads so slowly that people leave

How long it takes

Single-page site: 2–3 weeks. Multi-page site: 4–6 weeks, counted from the moment you hand over copy and materials.

How I approach this

Why Next.js instead of WordPress

A Next.js site produces finished HTML before anyone visits, so the browser never waits on a database or a dozen plugins. WordPress rebuilds the page on every request, and the more add-ons it carries the slower it gets. The gap is often several times over, and Google has counted load time toward ranking for years. It also removes a whole category of problems: plugin updates that break the layout, and security holes in add-ons nobody maintains.

What fast actually means

I treat a site as fast when the main content appears in under 1.8 seconds on a mobile connection. That is the threshold Google considers good. You do not have to take my word for it — the page you are reading is built the same way. Run it through PageSpeed Insights and see the score before you order anything.

What I do with the content

I write or edit the copy with you. A site without decent content is just nice packaging, and I would rather it generated enquiries. I ask who your customer is, what worries them before buying, and what sets you apart — then I build the page structure around those answers.
