I say when something is not worth doing
Automating a process that takes two hours a month will never pay for itself. An app when a website would do is a burnt budget. I would rather lose the job than the referral.

I run Stackly on my own. You talk to me, I quote, I write the code, and I answer when something breaks. At this project size that usually works better than a team where information passes through three people.

I started with automation: connecting tools that do not talk to each other and taking repetitive work off people. It quickly turned out that most clients had the same problem underneath — a website that did not work properly, or no tool for the process to live in at all.
So today I take the problem on from the ground up, building websites, web apps, automation, and SEO together with GEO. Not to have a longer offer, but because these things keep leaning on each other. A site without SEO brings no enquiries. An automation with nowhere to keep its data is a half-measure.

You get the scope, price and date before I begin. Nothing is added later without your agreement, and if I estimated something badly that is my problem, not yours.
After the final invoice I hand over the repository and full rights. I keep no locks that would force you to keep working with me, and I do not hold your domain on my account.
You see a working version before everything is finished. I do not disappear for three weeks and come back with a surprise you did not order.
I pick tools to fit the project, not the other way round. If an off-the-shelf solution serves your case better than code written from scratch, I will say so — even when it means a smaller project for me.
I have no completed commercial work behind me, and I am not going to hide that behind other people's logos or invented statistics. What I do have is working personal projects you can open and click, published prices, real deadlines, and this site as evidence of how I work. I am looking for my first clients, which is why I offer a lower rate in exchange for a reference and permission to publish a case study.
